HELLO ALL IN RENTLAND!

I'm writing from my hotel in beautiful San Diego and i'm extremely exhausted from the past week of shows in L.A. We all had an unbelievable time at the Pantages and i still can't believe the response from the audiences. Pascal and I drove down today to get into San Diego just in time for the show so i really haven't had the full SD experience yet. I'm just happy to be out of a snowy environment right about now.. holla if you hear me! I guess being in this city is the perfect opportunity to finally fulfill a childhood dream........SEA WORLD!! haha don't judge me....but wait.. didn't Shamu die? ;-( well then i guess i will be looking at a damn good understudy. In any case i will take this opportunity to sit and record some more music. Living in NYC didn't allow me to submerge myself in the recording process so everything was a bit unfocused. But touring has been a blessing in that respect. i will hopefully return to post some pics of my adventures! stay tuned ppl!

Thanks for the post, Justin! :) Um there's more than one Shamu, I think, I haven't been to Sea World since I was a kid, but when I went it was always Shamu at the one in Florida and Ohio. LOL

Enjoy the rest of the sunny weather out west. ;)

I also saw the show in LA! It was my first time seeing RENT live and it was so wonderful I've been unable to properly describe it. Thank you (and the rest of the cast/crew) so much for your wonderful performance!

Hi Justin! I'm seeing you on Sunday and absolutely can't wait. I hope you all get some time to enjoy San Diego while you're here and that Sea World lives up.

Hi Justin! It was great meeting you last night, and I was totally blown away by the performance! Speaking of Sea World, there's a wayward grey whale in the harbor downtown, you guys should go check it out. On the Embarcadero really close by.
I'm hoping to see the show one more time, and be up close, so I can see your faces : )

Saw you guys in LA...were fantastic. though I've been a fan of the show forever, I never got the chance to see it on stage until last week. It was the best Birthday ever!! So thanks to all you guys...and I'm coming down to SD to do it all over again...I just have to get paid first.

Haha, sounds like you're having a blast in SD, honestly, I wish I was there. It was flippin' cold in Toronto today, but yeah. Hopefully you guys will get to come up here some time during the tour. But yeah, if not, I'll try to go to the nearest city in the states... XD

Hi there! Oh so happy to see there is a rent blog; especially for the touring company. I did see RENT in NYC a few years back but am SO excited for the Gammage performance coming up next week. I was wondering if any of the cast was going to hang around and sign autographs afterwards or if I will need to stalk the back door? Just wondering! Thank you and I cannot wait to see you all perform.

Justin,
I was so happy to see that you're in the touring cast for RENT. I saw you last year on Broadway, and I think you make a fantastic Angel. I also saw you in San Diego; the whole cast did an amazing job. Even though I didn't get a chance to meet anyone after the show, I hope that I'm able to make a trip to Denver and see RENT once more while it's on tour. Break a leg!!!

It's Friday night and the cast of RENT completely lived up to its' reputation. Justin, your rendition and runs of these songs are just amazing! You really need to record NOW! Such a strong cast and I am so glad I was able to witness and see a truly historic performance. San Diego was all cheers all the way through and we could tell that you were truly loved by all the applause. Don't forget us in San Diego! :)

What is really cool is that my last name is Pantages and that Rent was at the Pantages theatre!

SAN DIEGO LOVES you guys!!!

saw the performance saturday march 14 @ 2pm...and i had a blast! the cast and crew PLUS the audience participation (ahem to the mezzenine level...the guy on my right side [left side for you guys] who made the show more intertaining with his comments) made my RENT watching more memorable!

hope to see it again SOON!

PS. you should visit shamu ^_^

Hello! I was at San Diego's closing night last night and had an amazing time as always when I see RENT. Your portrayal of Angel is simply brilliant and had me cracking up and crying all at the same time. Good luck with the rest of the tour and I hope you enjoyed San Diego!

Saw you guys again in SD...and I won front row on Sunday Afternoon...it seriously, was probably the best experience of my life. All of you guys are so amazing...it's just so much more emotional up that close, I feel like I'm on the stage part of the story. And I was the one dancing around the whole time, and singing along, and screaming most of the time....LOL..typical RENThead. Hopefully I'll see you guys in D.C....and once again, do it all over again.

Yeah, I think Shamu dies a while ago. That's too bad, but I hope Sea World was awsome for you! I've never been myself (Thirteen and stuck in snowy south-east Michigan - Uhg.) Saw you guys in Detroit a few weeks ago and OMG - The. Most. Awsome. Experience! You guys were just so awsome. And I promised myself I wouldn't fangirl at you...oh well! :D
