Hello Nicolette,
So excited to find this blog! I am actually playing Maureen in the first ever community Theatre production of RENT in Midland, TX. We open tonight, and I couldn't be more excited. This show is HARD! But I have never had a more rewarding theatrical experience. The entire process has been magical, and what an honor to bring this show to the mainstream masses of conservative middle America. I think Jonathan Larson is looking down and smiling right now.
My Husband (he is playing Collins) and I will be in Austin on May 16 to see your production. We are almost as excited about that as we are our own opening tonight! Break-A-Leg.
